Anyway, we are here, just the five of us. The kids love our new house since it is much larger than our precious, little house back in the bend. It's almost been a month, and I think they are just now starting to realize that we are far away from family. They have asked to visit grandma, and just don't understand. Facetime is a godsend, but it's not a good as the real thing!
We have limited furniture because we left most of our beat up stuff behind, and we are waiting for the new stuff to be delivered. If you walked in right now, you would think that all we had filled our moving trailer with was toys because they are spewed everywhere. It is vital that I make a trip to IKEA A.S.A.P.! Organization must happen, like yesterday! The boys have enjoyed playing in the back yard so far. It is mostly concrete, so they can ride their bikes all over and have a blast. Brian has been busy fixing odds and ends around the house. I have been trying to make sense of all of our clutter that we decided to bring along. We should have trashed it all before the move, but I have realized that I am borderline hoarder. Slow and steady is the pace I am taking.
So, there is a quick update for now. I will be more active in my posting as we get our life back in order here. I hope to go to the local farmers market for the first time next weekend, and we are trying to get our organic grocery shopping figured out. Next post will include some photos of our new place and surroundings. I am glad to be back in the saddle with my blog! It's "MY" thing, and I missed it. I hope you are all still following!
