I have to say, for the past two months Brian has been working away from home, it's been tough. He was home for only one and a half weeks since April 30th. I was so grateful for my month home in Indiana, but it sucks really bad being away from your husband for so long. Especially when you haven't been apart for more than two weeks in 15 years.

I am writing this a couple days in advance as I watch Brian's flight path on the United Airline website in the middle of the night. He was supposed to fly home last Thursday, but due to a death in the family, he stayed until Monday the 30th. For those of you back home in the mid-west, you know that there were wicked nasty storms that barreled through that evening, and that is when he was supposed to board and come home. After a 5 hour delay, he is finally on his way! He won't get home until 5 in the morning :(

FAST FORWARD TO TODAY.......
I am so grateful to have Brian home. We usually don't do much for our anniversary, but after being apart for so long, it makes it extra special this year. Brian is my best friend. We have been through a lot together. We have literally grown into adults together. We have changed each other for the better. We are polar opposites in many ways, yet we enjoy a lot of the same things. Particularly food! :) We love exploring new places. We grow more deeply in love as the years go on. We have three beautiful children. I truly don't know what I would do without him. He is my rock! Love you always and forever Bri! Happy anniversary!
Before I end my little post for the day, ladies and gentlemen married to a someone in the military, I don't know how you do it being apart for such long periods of time, and God bless you. I am super weak sauce compared to you. Thank you for all that you and your family sacrifice for our country!! Through out the past two months, you have been on my mind a lot and I admire you! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
